Colpitts PineRidge Ranch was founded to provide the healthiest, best tasting meats possible. Our ranch is guided by the health principles realized by my father, Dr. Tom Colpitts a dentist turned alternative health practitioner. Dr Colpitts treats patients from around the country at his clinic in Tulsa and has become convinced of the importance of healthy food. We have dedicated this farm/ranch to provide you with meats free of steroids, antibiotics, arsenic, pesticides, and herbicides and reintroducing you to healthy foods with taste. Our corner stone product is our whole life grass fed beef that is raised on fields managed WITHOUT pesticides, herbicides, or chemicals potentially dangerous to you and me. The research shows that grass fed beef is one of the healthiest meats you can eat. The flavor speaks for itself. We seasonally offer French “Label Rouge” style Free Range chicken. The French Label Rouge program focuses on slow growing breeds suited for outdoor production to deliver superior taste and culinary qualities that have become sought after by consumers and fine dining chefs throughout Europe. We have developed our Pastured Free Range chicken operation to bring the French Label Rouge qualities to you. Our chickens come from a genetic line imported from France and take almost twice as long to grow as the standard American Cornish cross. This slow growth delivers a healthy bird with superior taste and tenderness. For almost four centuries the most flavorful pork has come from the Berkshire breed of hogs which are famous for the perfect combination of juiciness, flavor and tenderness. Our management philosophy has also been shaped by world class bovine geneticists, livestock handlers, innovators, and ranch managers like Gerald Fry, Bud Williams, Joel Salatin, and Dave Pratt.
